Upload the photo — a phone shot works fine, and so does an older print you've scanned in. Our team color-corrects and adjusts the image by hand for canvas printing specifically, which behaves differently than paper: skin tones need a slightly different balance, and texture and contrast get tuned so the print doesn't look flat once it's stretched over a frame. The canvas itself is stretched by hand over a solid wood frame, corners folded and secured properly rather than glued flat to a board, which is the difference between something that looks like real gallery art on a wall and something that looks like a poster pretending to be one.

You'll see a proof of the crop and color adjustments before we print, so if a face is getting cut off at the edge or the color looks off compared to your memory of the moment, you can flag it before it becomes a finished piece hanging on your wall.
